Weird font problem with X..

I think I remember a thread about this a few months ago..  I should check

I hate when that happens.....

/tmp/.font-unix/  contains the socket for the font server.

Does /tmp have the sticky bit set???  chmod 1777 /tmp
Does /tmp/.font-unix have the sticky bit set and is it owned by xfs:xfs?
chown xfs.xfs. .font-unix;chmod 1777 .font-unix

Now try it.....
