One problem with TLAs is that they tend to make poor keys as they are
frequently not unique. ;-)

Natural Language Processing?

Neuro-Linguistic Programming?

New LP - front end to postscript printers (lpr, lprng, etc)

A more limited scope may improve my searches. Hints to further limit the
search?

As usual, DT does not seem to have the pages updated for speakers....
http://www.defcon.org/dcx-speakers.html for this year. I think they wait
until the last minute for stuff sometimes...

Even looked over some of your pages for links to resources on what it
might be...

Crap. I feel sorry for the fool who did that. Shipley is easy to get along
with too. He seems to respect you if you have knowledge, but is
disinterrested if you dont learn stuff.

I remember the stripper about 4 or 5 years ago who started stripping in
the main area until Priest came in and asked her to leave - he said minors
were present and it was not permitted.

I remember 2 guys stripping to just socks and running around the
b0rken equipment area sounding like The Thre Stooges (whooo! Whooo!
Whooo! Yip! Yip! Wooobwooowboooowbooo!)

Then there was the year at the Aladdin when power was cut to the hotel
(could that have been an accident? I think not!)

And then some *stuuuuuuuuuupid* people who video taped their B&E into some
other hotels boiler rooms and eletronic dirstro rooms. (I am sure they
wanted to show their friends, but it can also be evidence.)

The year some dumbass put quick-dry cement down the toilet in what would
be assumed to be their own room.

Yeah, they have people that gather together and talk about different
fettishes and show off home-made MPG videos with what they have done and
say they enjoy. Black and White ball can be fun to watch, but I have no
patience to get dressed up so nice - too much work. For me, there is only
one fettish - nerding out and getting good information.

Bad kitty is now a teacher eh? Does than mean no more hacker jepordy with
her in it? Last year was a bust when they woman filling in for her wore
clothes and they promised for each daily double answered correctly, she
would take off a piece of clothing... well, they usually set it up so no
matter what people do, even if all daily doubles are answered correctly,
enough clothing exists to prevent any nudity. (Not so difficult to figure
out btw) Looking at someone naked is *not* the fun part. The fun part I
kept hoping for was seeing what Priest would do when rules of a contest
make it work out such that she would have to expose something and he has
to deal with it. Well, it happened last year. And it was not as funny as I
hoped. He was just the heavy and there was no word play bwteen him and the
audience. Rather anti-climactic for all of the years of waiting to see
what would happen when their rules failed to work as they should.

When over 60% of the presentations are "old" or information you have
covered (as often is the case in the newbie track) or too far from your
focus and direction then socializing is one of the options left. I hope
they will have more new stuff. :-)

Heh. :-D

If you want to go off list with this, I am fine with that.
