Quick NBLUG update

Just figured I'd send a quick note so that people know what's going on with
NBLUG:

Upcoming events:
We've roped Mark into continuing to talk about PHP for tomorrow night.
March we'll be having somebody from the "Linux Bootable Business Card" (BBC)
project; then on the Saturday after our meeting it looks like we'll be doing
a screening of "RevolutionOS" in a room at the SSU library.
April will be covering Perl, with Tom Anderson of sonoma.pm.org.
May is Linux on the PlayStation 2 with Adam Bertsch of Sony.
June is Mike (ME) talking about Linux Kernel stuff
July is Mike (again) talking about spam filtering; probably with me helping
a bit.
Somewhere in there (April? May? June?) there should be an InstallFest,
possibly including installing Linux onto the PS2 and possibly involving some
sort of partnership with nocat (local wireless group).
Anybody got any ideas for August or September?

Mailing lists:
Any day now I'm gonna get off my ass and convert talk and announce over to
mailman; this should prove easier to use for certain things than the current
software is. Anybody currently on the lists shouldn't have to do anything
unless they want to use a new feature. The signup process would change, of
course.

Mirrors:
We recently killed the Debian and CPAN portions; not because they're
unpopular, but because they're well-mirrored elsewhere. We'll probably be
turning off access to ISOs except with special permission or something. (15
ISO downloads in a month hits the ceiling on what our free bandwidth
allocation is supposed to be) We will definitely be keeping apt-rpm for
updates around, however.

Web site:
We keep talking about some changes but nobody has enough time to really
implement them properly and not much has happened. Most of us running NBLUG
are simultaneously lazy and busy... Know any good web designers?

NBLUG board/organization:
So, anybody wanna take over as President of NBLUG?
