[NBLUG/talk] Samba running slow...

I should have thought of that test myself!  FTP is showing the same 
problem: PC->Linux for a 8 MB file is running at ~500 Kbps; Linux->PC is 
instantaneous (too fast to measure).

Here is the routing table.

Is this correct?  My Linux 9 For Dummies says that it should be
