You mean ~/.vnc/xstartup? I tried it both ways.

Haven't done that, yet.

I did not have one of those in my $HOME. Created one as above
(except the shebang).

Restarted X and it came up, but not as I expected. I got TWM + Gnome. No Xterm. Then started vncserver. No improvement at all there.

Ah. That's where a new problem starts. I deleted .Xclients and restarted X, but I'm still stuck with TWM + Gnome. And the two don't play nicely with each other. And TWM is this ugly green color. How can I get back to WindowMaker + Gnome?
