[NBLUG/talk] OT: Utility of "Off-Topic"

In defense of "Off Topic" stuff, the *first* OT discussion that I
started re division by zero led to Eric's clueing me in to Gnuplot.
I downloaded and installed, and I'm way glad I have it.
Thanks, Eric.  This is an example of how OT can morph into
"On Topic," and I doubt if Gnuplot would have come into my
sphere of interest were it not for this OT discussion I started.

I respectfully request tolerance for OT.
