[NBLUG/talk] why is Samba so bloody awful

     To avoid pulling hairs out use the web interface. You have to do some
minor setup, but it seems to make a lot more sense in between the
year or so that I change my samba setup. If you do this be sure to
backup your config file as the web interface will trash any comments
you have there and possibly some of your config as well. It's best to
browse the web interface from the machine it's actually running on.
I've even done it on lynx. Sometimes I use it, sometimes not.
