[NBLUG/talk] debian.org compromised

For the last couple of days I've been wondering why I couldn't
reach parts of the debian.org domain (lists, security, non-US,
etc.). Now I know. Several of their servers were recently
compromised. The Debian Website says nothing, but I ran across an
announcement on DistroWatch.com's homepage
( http://www.distrowatch.com/ )  They claim that "the archive is
not affected by this compromise". I'm taking that to mean the
package repositories, but I'm going to hold off on upgrading my
systems for a few days to see what comes of this (even though
3.0r2 has just come out).
