I have no experience with that laptop. But with my newish Dell, I put the
SuSE CD in, booted, clicked "new installation" and it showed a list of
suggestions, one was "resize the disk, install Linux and dual boot with
Windows". Clicked that, it resized and installed Linux and gave me a
dual-boot menu. Just like that (Well, it took an hour, but there was no
chance to screw it up by doing the default suggestions).
