Ok, this is real odd.
I just logged in from a redhat box. It first asked for the root password
evidently and then asked for the user password. This is some real odd
behavior:

[root at amanda root]# ssh whansen at 192.168.33.225
The authenticity of host '192.168.33.225 (192.168.33.225)' can't be
established.
RSA key fingerprint is ca:01:2e:5c:b8:43:47:8f:20:1b:4c:26:c8:60:2f:04.
Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)? yes
Warning: Permanently added '192.168.33.225' (RSA) to the list of known hosts.
