I noted that some folks with duplicate message problems had a Yahoo! email address. If you think the following is related, Yahoo! might have more information than is available here. (remember that NBLUG is not a Yahoo! group and it's probably not NBLUG's fault)

The headers, in particular, are vital for us to be able to effectively
troubleshoot.
