Good morning Dan,

As long as you don't want to dual boot, then I would recommend doing a live
boot w/ your installation disc first, then when you are ready to install,
make sure you have access to an Ethernet port on a router so you can make
all necessary updates. What is the specific hardware and future Linux
spec's at this time? Another option would be to install Oracle's VM and
just build your Linux machine after booting to Windows.
