[NBLUG/talk] spill into laptop ...

I spilt sweet coffee on my favorite Toshiba once. Immediate poweroff and poured it out. I voided the warranty by taking it apart and literally washing it piece by piece (except the screen, battery, and physical drives) under warm water. Mild soap on the sticky bits and set it in a dishrack to dry. Once reassembled it worked fine with the occasional exception of the "m" (M was okay).

You will void your warranty even further and might break it more. I had fun!
