[NBLUG/talk] Printers

HP printers very often claim they're out of ink when they're not, 
sometimes even with genuine HP cartridges.  Does it really refuse to 
print, or does it just complain?  My home printer warns of an impending 
apocalypse if we print with refilled cartridges, but we do it anyway.
