Hi Mark. I just deployed this configuration on Debian yesterday to a
company of about 20 nodes. It seems to be functioning well. Set-up was
fairly painless, everything was installed from deb packages, although for
some things (spamassassin for instance) I had to retreive "unstable"
packages for so I could get recent versions.

The way it's all set-up is very clean and easy to configure, IMHO. Debian
packages made most of it a complete breeze.

Subject: [NBLUG/talk] Postfix - amavisd-new - clam antivirus -
spamassassin

Has anyone deployed this antivirus/spam solution combination in a production

environment?

Postfix MTA
amavisd-new virus scanner
clam antivirus
spamassassin

I just finished installing it on my server and would like to find out a
little
more about it before I recommend it as a solution....
