Hey Dean,

Did you used to work in I.T. at North American Mortage, perhaps supporting an RS6000 with Sybase?  I did a lot of Powerbuilder stuff there in the late 90s with Bill Brennecke, and your name looks really familiar...;-)

Check the first line of the /etc/init.d/sendmail script to make it has the
shell interpreter specified....example==>> #! /bin/sh
Also check that /usr/sbin/sendmail exists.
